Ogallala Businessman named Erdman’s Treasurer

BAYARD – Steve Erdman, candidate for the Nebraska Unicameral from Nebraska’s 47th legislative district, announced today that small business owner, Jacob Mueller will serve as treasurer for his campaign.

“I am pleased to support Steve as our next state senator for District 47 and to serve as the treasurer of his campaign,” said Jacob Mueller, owner of Thalken Title Co. in Ogallala. “I believe Steve’s conservative, common-sense approach will benefit our district. His experiences as a farmer, county commissioner, and school board member will serve him well as he represents District 47. I have known Steve for 13 years. His leadership is exactly what we need to serve the people of the 47th District.”

Jacob comes from a strong agricultural background with family who has farmed in the Ogallala area for four generations. Jacob received his law degree from the University of Nebraska College of Law in 2002. Jacob purchased the Thalken Title Co. in 2012 from Jim & Peggy Thalken. Thalken Title Co. is a full service agency specializing in residential, commercial, agricultural real estate transactions. They do business in all counties in the 47th district. Jacob and his wife Laci have two children, Max and Ella.
